Role Overview
We are seeking a highly technical Senior Embedded Firmware Engineer to architect and develop the core firmware for our robots. Your primary focus will be maximizing hardware performance. You will write low-level C++ drivers, implement FOC motor control loops, and ensure our EtherCAT communication meets strict hard real-time deadlines every single cycle. This is a hands-on role where you will divide your time between your IDE and hardware debugging tools like logic analyzers and oscilloscopes. You will take full ownership of the critical code that directly controls the machine's movement, bus latencies, and overall stabilit
Skills
- Proven Track Record: Demonstrated deep embedded experience, successfully shipping firmware for complex electromechanical products, not just evaluation boards.
- Core Technologies: Strong C/C++ programming skills for embedded firmware development.
- Hardware & Debugging: Experience with microcontrollers (e.g., STM32) and hands-on hardware bring-up, debugging, and testing.
- Protocols: Deep familiarity with industrial communication protocols, specifically EtherCAT.
- Additional Languages: Rust skills are highly welcomed.
- Mindset & Teamwork: Analytical problem solver with the ability to collaborate effectively across multidisciplinary hardware and software teams.
- Language: Solid communication skills in English.
